As the founder of Duke Realty over 27 years ago, I was disappointed in the lack of identification of the aforementioned negative review. It is unfortunate the internet allows disgruntled slanderers to air their feelings. Let it be said that during that tenure, only one tenant filed suit concerning deposit reconciliation and that tenant was denied any claim to their deposit. Duke Realty was awarded Best in Business in Katy in 2009 & has never had any unemployment claims against it during that time. It has also received numerous letters from satisfied tenants and all positive reviews from the credit bureau.

I had one weekend to fly down and find a rental property in Katy. While other local realtors were too busy to return calls, Dave Kusko, owner of Duke Realty, promptly called me back and even agreed to show me the house late on a weekend night. He then met with me at his office to complete the paperwork. Dave is a very busy man who owns several businesses and many properties. While direct, he is a nice guy. We had one issue with maintenance not showing for a scheduled repair, but after complaining to Dave, that didn't happen again. Since the Sept. hurricane, repairs have not been completed on the fence that was knocked down and we haven't pressed the issue - since we imagine that many of his properties sustained damage. He charged us for electrical problems that existed in the old house we rented before we moved in....that's shady to do to tenants. We can't recommend him due to that.
