Katy Asian Town at 23119 Colonial Parkway, Katy, Texas.

When we moved to Katy a few years ago one of the things we missed the most were more authentic Asian restaurants (no Panda Express doesn't count), milk tea & dessert places and Asian supermarket. I was already happy when we got 99 Ranch and later Vivi and Leafology but now we are essentially getting a new Chinatown right here in Katy!

To the person criticizing H Mart for having "5 brands of bubble tea shops in the plaza". First, I don't even believe H Mart owns and/or operates Katy Asian Town. They may be one of the bigger tenants but I have not seen anything that indicates they own the plaza. Second, KAT is supposed to be like Chinatown on Bellaire but here in Katy. There are at least 20+ milktea and dessert places within two block radius in Chinatown and maybe half of them in Dun Huang Plaza alone. Lastly, from the list of milktea places I have seen that will be in KAT, it looks like they all offer something different and will attract different crowds. Having five different milktea places in the plaza also seems silly to give the whole plaza a low rating IMO.
